Social Programme

Galway is seen by many as a cultural capital in Ireland and students who attend GCI have a wealth of options when considering what to do in their free time. GCI is proud to offer our students a varied social and activity programme that takes advantage of our fantastic location.

The focus of the GCI Social Programme is on introducing our students to each other, our city and Irish culture in all its forms. Learners have the chance to experience the "buzz" of the streets of Galway as well as the peace and beauty of Connemara and the Burren. Visits to the theatre, ballet, festivals, music events and cinema are some of the numerous options available and so students can be assured of an exciting social life for the duration of their stay with us.
