First Day
Testing, Class Placement and Orientation
All students receive a written and oral test on their first day as part of their orientation and are allocated their appropriate level. GCI offers six levels from Elementary to Proficiency throughout the year. Students receive their orientation pack, a tour of the school and information on services and amenities available in the school and Galway city.
ID Cards
To avail of all the facilities GCI has to offer you, discounts in Ozone Coffee Company and in shops and excursions in Galway city and county, students must purchase a GCI I.D. card on arrival. The cost of purchase is EUR 5.00 and the cards can be purchased during orientation on your first day.
