Approximately half of the programme focuses on structured English language development, while the other half explores Irish culture through literature, music, history, and creative workshops. This balanced approach ensures steady progress in your English while experiencing Ireland’s cultural richness.
Participants will explore Irish literature, poetry, folklore, traditional and modern music, historical narratives, contemporary Irish society, and aspects of Irish identity. Workshops may also include storytelling, creative tasks, and cultural excursions around Galway.
The programme fee typically includes tuition, welcome pack, e-learning resources, social activity programme, cultural activities, learning materials, and a certificate of completion. Optional excursions, meals, and accommodation are not included unless otherwise specified.
GCI offers a range of accommodation options including host family and student residences. Homestay is especially popular with participants who wish to practise English daily in an authentic home environment, while residences give you the freedom to explore other cultures.
We provide all required Erasmus+ documentation, including the Course Programme, Learning Agreement, Mobility Agreement, Confirmation of Registration, and Certificate of Attendance upon completion.
