Course Objectives

A One-to-One programme will quickly improve student’s general or specialised English.

The One to One programmes involve a negotiated syllabus. Individual lessons are a great way to focus on specific needs and work on areas that the students himself decides in advance. So whether it is speaking, grammar or preparation for a specific exam you will be able to achieve your personal learning goals.

    • To help the student achieve his particular targets
    • To improve student's confidence when using English
    • To assist the learner in developing his own learning style and strategies in order to continue the learning process and achieve improvement post course enrollement

Course Content

Each student completes a pre-test and Needs Analysis Questionnaire before or on arrival. The teacher then uses this proposal to develop a tailored course.  Language input comes from various sources including course books, newspapers, the internet etc. to facilitate the learning outcomes of the participant. The teaching approach is communicative and task-based with the emphasis on language production.

One of the major benefits of this type of programme is that the teachers can assess their student’s learning requirements and will adapt the teaching methods to their learning style and pace.

These lessons can concentrate either on General English or on any specialist areas that the student is interested in (such as business, work presentations, marketing or management, etc.)
