Galway Cultural Institute End of Course Certificates

Certificates - Graduation Day at GCI

All GCI students receive an end of course certificate, whether you are here for two years or two weeks, graduation ceremony is an important time. It is both an ending to your time here in Galway Cultural Institute and the beginning of something new. We celebrate our students' departure every Friday in the Halla Mór. You will receive your certificate that states your course, your level at the time that you leave, as well as your oral, aural, reading and writing level. You will also receive a personal comment from your teachers on your progress and time at the school.

A new beginning

We would like to think that in traveling to a foreign country, you have made the leap of faith towards learning.

The bond that people form with their fellow students, teachers and staff can be a very powerful one and it can be difficult to leave Galway behind. Many of our students have stayed on for longer than they expected in Galway and have planted roots, found love and made their lives here. Our students who move back to their home countries find work easier or continue to study further. We like to keep in contact with our students as much as possible so please, never be a stranger.

We are humbled by the amount of people who choose our school to study and we cannot begin to express how we feel about how much students have gotten out of their time here. We would like to think of graduation as a start more than an end. Your future starts here, with Galway Cultural Institute, but your time with us is just the beginning.

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” - Mark Twain
