Throughout the week, real classroom scenarios are used to demonstrate the positive effects of technology in education, helping educators see not just what tools do, but how they transform learning. The curriculum introduces participants to contemporary educational technology, ranging from interactive platforms and digital learning tools to emerging AI applications with an emphasis on practical use. Educators explore how to design digitally enhanced lessons, how to personalise learning through data-informed feedback, and how to maintain high engagement through multimedia and collaborative tools.
By the end of the programme, participants develop an individualised set of digital strategies they can implement immediately, helping them shape learning environments that are flexible, creative, and responsive to modern educational needs.
This one-week course runs from Monday to Friday and includes 20 lessons per week. Participants receive a welcoming pack, academic and practical resources and Certificate of Attendance. A B1 level of English is recommended to ensure full engagement with the tasks and discussions, though the learning atmosphere remains supportive and accessible to all.
The course is fully eligible for Erasmus+ Key Action 1 funding under KA121, KA122, or KA131, depending on your institution. Once participants confirm their place, GCI provides the necessary documents for the application process, including the course schedule, confirmation letters, and other required documentation. The team also assists with common Erasmus-related queries, making the funding process straightforward for schools and coordinators.
Located on Ireland’s west coast, Galway offers a vibrant environment where academic development blends naturally with cultural immersion. Participants can enjoy scenic walks, lively cafés, traditional music, and a welcoming local community, an ideal backdrop for reflection, collaboration, and meeting new people. Many educators find that informal networking during cultural activities becomes one of the most valuable aspects of their Erasmus mobility.
AI plays an important role, but it is balanced with a strong introduction to broader digital technologies to ensure a well-rounded understanding.
You will be studying with peers from all over the world, and you will have a change to discuss various projects, peer-sharing sessions and informal networking events encourage professional exchange throughout the week.
Tuition, academic materials, certification, Erasmus+ documentation, and use of GCI facilities are all included.
Participants may choose from host families, student residences, or partner B&B’s and hotels, depending on preference and budget.
GCI supplies course confirmations, detailed programmes, invoices, and mobility documentation confirmation if applicable.
Most participants apply under KA122-SCH, KA121, or KA131 depending on their educational sector.
